HomeTeam Inspection Service was featured The Sentinel in an article titled, "Local Veteran uses military background as small business owner." Prince George’s Sentinel reporter Chelsea Boone compiled an article about Dwayne Moore’s service of over 20 years in the U.S. Army and how the discipline and sense of teamwork he garnered from his experience has helped him with his career as a business owner. Greg Haskett also discussed HomeTeam’s participation in the Vet Fran program, which gives veterans a 25% discount on the initial franchise fee, and the success that quality veterans bring to franchises. Local Veteran uses military background as small business owner

“Failure is not an option,” military veteran Dwayne Moore said in reference to his home inspection business.

That work ethic became instilled in Moore while he was in the military and he kept that with him when started his business, HomeBiz Inspection Team.

Moore’s time in the military reiterated the things he learned at home, he said.

“It gave me a sense of teamwork,” the retired Army medic said.

Moore served as a nursing assistant for the Army starting in Dec. 1976 and later became a clinical administrator. He served 21 years and retired from the Army in July 1997.
